ADD EACH PERSONS QUALIFICATIONS
At Bright Stars Childcare, we select staff members who we have chosen not only for their knowledge, skills, and experience, but also for their caring and considerate nature. Each professional is carefully selected and has undergone an enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) check. We understand that it is essential for our parents to have complete confidence in the capabilities of the people who will be caring for their child. All our staff members have qualifications in Safeguarding Level one and two, Twelve Hour Paediatric First Aid (renewed at least every three years) and Food Safety and Hygiene level to name a few.
Charlotte
For as long as I can remember I have known I wanted to work with children. I started my journey by completing sixth form A levels then studying an early years degree at university in Sheffield. Whilst working in a range of childcare settings, I continually felt their rules and regulations hindered the education, care and attention I longed to provide. This is when Bright Stars was born. I live here with my partner of twelve years, Paul and our son Toby who was born July 2012. I work full time at Bright Stars.
Paul
Paul is a fully qualified childminder at Bright Stars and works weekends, evenings, bank holidays and overnight. Paul comes from a large family and loved caring for his siblings whilst growing up.
“Even though I am only here evenings and weekends, I still love forging relationships with the children and seeing them develop over time. I am the one who gets the children excited and tickles them when they are supposed to be winding down and chilling out.”
Chloe
In October 2015, we employed our first employee, Chloe Bebbington. Chloe has always had a passion for working with babies and young children, with an eagerness to help them develop to their full potential as they move on to school. Chloe’s entertaining and compassionate personality makes her an ideal member of our Bright Stars team. Chloe is currently working towards here level 3 qualification and is a fully qualified childminder at Bright Stars.
“You not only help them develop academically and socially, but encourage their personalities and bring out their unique traits, too. You see so many smiles. Smiles when they’re running around the park, when they jump into your arms, when they see their mummies and daddies at the end of the day. You get to play a role in their simple, joyful lives, and that’s beautiful.”
Dolly
We employed our second employee Dolly in March 2018. Dolly has had four children of her own and has been working with children since she was just sixteen years old. Dolly is a fully qualified Assistant Childminder.
“You are a crucial part of each child’s development. It’s you who teaches right from wrong, how to share, how to take turns, and what it means to have kind words and touches. You help develop these children, day in and day out, and you help mould them into their future selves.”
